Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. The bible says that no man comes to the Father except by Him. When you accept Jesus, He will reveal God to you and His great love for you personally. When you ask Jesus into your heart, your spirit gets connected to God. This is the most important decision that you will ever make in your entire life. Only Jesus can give you a peace that passes all understanding. (John 14:6,10-31; Acts 4:10-12; 1 Timothy 2:5,6; )
He promises abundant life here on earth and eternal life. He says to come and tell Him when you feel worried or burdened and He will lift the weight from you and give you peace. (Matthew 11:28; John 14:27)
Acceptance Prayer
Something you must do is to speak the following out loud:-
Heavenly Father, I come to you in your Son's name, Jesus, and ask you to forgive my sins and cleanse me. I desire to turn away from evil and false beliefs. I believe that Jesus took the punishment for all my sins when He died on the cross, and that He overcame death and rose again. You say that you never refuse anyone who comes to you and that whoever calls on the name of Jesus will be saved. I am calling on your name, Lord Jesus, and I receive your life and peace into my heart. Thank you Lord that I am now saved and have eternal life. Amen.
Scripture from Romans 10:9,10 says:
"If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved: for with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation."
Process
This prayer is the beginning of a life-changing process for you. Jesus desires a loving relationship in which you will personally experience His love and power and miracle gifts of the Holy Spirit. (1 Corinthians 2:4-14; John 14:21, Acts 2:38, Mark 16:15-20)
The transforming power of the Holy Spirit will help you to choose not to continue in sin. Jesus says: "Go and sin no more." (John 8:11)
